Scorpio speaks a different language than Libra altogether; the wordless, subtle yet visceral idiom of feelings and impulses.
Anchored in our human form, yet informed (and haunted) by the awareness of what awaits us beyond its decay, survival instinct in particular is one of the main driving forces that move Scorpio – together with the mysterious, irrepressible urge to sting itself to death in order to revive anew.

If there’s something wounded healer Chiron can teach us, is that healing is not a straight, upward path, nor a contest, or an endgoal. The highly eccentric orbit of this minor comet-like planet, its highly unstable motion, are symbolic of the discontinuous route taken by this beautiful, torturous process.

I feel that the upcoming Retrograde cycle of Mercury is Saturn‘s way of bidding farewell to Sagittarius after two years of transit through the sign – like a cautionary reminder that a chapter of our life is coming to a close as a new era knocks at our door, and yet the way we move through this transition at the present time can affect us in the years to come.

As Venus, planet of relatedness and relationships, enters cultured, free-thinking Sagittarius, on December 1st, we’re called to implement the richness, inclusivity and diversity of our social and romantic experience, to challenge the implicit bias that might condition our choice of partners, friends and associates, to love broadly, wholeheartedly, with less judgment, less sense of attachment. To get rid of the labels, armchair philosophies and man-made divisions that keep us from savoring the heterogeneity of mankind and human connections, and breathe new life into our social sphere.

There is a number of sayings that equate the formation of diamonds within the litospheric mantle of the Earth to our resilience in the face of hardships and adversity (“pressure makes diamonds”, and countless variations on the same theme).
Diamonds are, in many ways, unique and impressive. Diamond is the hardest known material, with the highest melting point, the highest refractive index (an indicator of brilliance), the most dense atomical configuration.  The word “diamond” itself comes from the ancient Greek ἀδάμας [adámas], which translates to “unbreakable”.
