New Moon in Taurus, May 15, 2018 – Garden of the Arcane Delights

Growth doesn’t have to come through strife, struggle and suffering, all the time. At the price of our own sanity, our peace of mind, our well-being.
Sometimes, growth is as simple and painless as tending to our own garden, and planting flowers in it. Flourishing – like Mother Nature teaches us. Receiving. Savouring. Accepting. Grounding ourselves in the Beauty and bounty that surround us, and creating our own bliss from it. Allowing life to flow to and through us.
The New Moon blooming in the fertile garden of Taurus (24°36) on May 15, at 11:47 AM UTC, is an initiation into the resilient wisdom of the senses, and much more. Supported by Mars and Pluto, in a semi-sextile aspect with her ruler, Venus, in Gemini, she also ushers in the Uranus in Taurus era, foreshadowing a 7-year time span of electrifying, innovative, overdue upgrades to our experience of the material plane, of wealth, of comfort, of pleasure. Even and especially if we have forgotten how to blossom and thrive just like Earth does. Even and especially if our skin and Soul are starving.

Full Moon in Scorpio, April 30, 2018 – Exhumed

In the words of either Finley Dunne, Banksy or Cesar A. Cruz (the paternity of the quote is still very much debated), art should “comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable”.
If so, we could definitely go as far as to say that Scorpio’s ferocious, visceral brand of transmutation is surely an art in its own right.
“Comfortable” is a word that doesn’t exist in the scorpion’s vocabulary. “Death”, “agony” and “catharsis” do.
Whereas Libra is the neutral, diplomatic terrain of compromise, where two Souls meet halfway, Scorpio is the bottomless pit, the dark corridors, the kingdom of Hades. Few want to venture there; but those who do, always come back with a surplus of power and resilience that could rip the whole Universe open.
It’s hard to imagine a less welcoming place for soft, dainty Luna (the Moon is considered to be in her fall here), because Scorpio is not protective, or soothing. Like, at all.

Venus enters Gemini, April 24, 2018 – A Moment of Clarity

Venus left Taurus for intellectually sophisticated Gemini, today, ushering in a rather different experience compared to the quiet, unfaltering vibe of her transit of Taurus. One that feeds on the potential for erotic and emotional fulfillment hidden in mental stimulation.
Venus in Gemini is lively and restless, and her airy dynamism awakens the desire to intellectually fathom the whys and wherefores of our Love Life, but also of our own preferences, tastes and inclinations, as well as our partner’s.  Venus in Gemini challenges us to up our own critical thinking skills and our learning abilities. She prompts us to loosen our grip and embrace our hopes, fears and desires, so that we can freely and openly share them with those we Love.

Pluto stations Retrograde, April 22, 2018 – The Fragrancy of Soil Unearthed

Pluto is far more merciful than we give him credit for.
He compassionately executes what is no longer capable of surviving. He decimates what is rotting away and poisoning our wells. He delivers us from the etherical cords that keep us bound. He dredges us up from the murky swamp of pain, guilt, regret, attachment.
It’s a drawn out, laborious process, one that sometimes passes us by without us even noticing, and, other times, awakens the deepest of our fears from their age-old slumber. It’s a difficult job, but somebody’s got to do it.

The upcoming Retrograde cycle of Saturn, starting on April 18, 2018 (9°08 Capricorn), is, among other things, our first chance to pause and take stock of the general themes and lessons of the Saturn in Capricorn era, one that has already managed to put a sizable amount of pressure on our shoulders in barely four months.
Saturn, the taskmaster, the authoritarian among planets, is home in the stern, inflexible sign of Capricorn. There is, therefore, a quintessential purity about this transit.
