Full Moon in Gemini, December 3, 2017 – Voices

There is a transient, nebulous, even paradoxical quality about the Full Moon arriving on December 3, at 3:47 PM UTC, 11 degrees 40 minutes of the sign of Gemini.
Hitting us with the tidal intensity of a supermoon, this plenilune, however, also occurs while its dispositor, Mercury, turns to a halt in the sign of his detriment. Moreover, the moment of impact is also furtherly toned down by a hazy square from the master of deception Neptune, while a quincunx to Jupiter fearlessly reveling in the occult covertness of Scorpio dims the moonlight beams with a veil of secrecy and mystery.
Every Full Moon marks an energetic peak, which shines a bright beam on whatever is coming full-circle in our Life, highlighting culminations, realizations, manifestations in the world of the senses; however, given the dual, fleeing nature of Gemini, and the changeable, wobbly climate surrounding the last Full Moon for 2017, the results of such apogee leave much more room for improvement and evolution than usual. This Full Moon is less of a categorical writing on the wall and more of a subtle, layered hint from the Universe – a faltering signal, rather than a blinding, revealing light.
She collects and releases information, spreading it far and wide, triggering an escalation of mental activity and nudging us into the spotlight so that we may become human catalysts of information ourselves, yet not every word will be trustworthy, and not every statement will be backed up by facts.
A Full Moon in Gemini normally pulls into focus the narratives, testimonies and perspectives that weave the conceptual fabric of our shared reality, and surprise announcements and cards-on-the-table discussions are all common occurrences under such mercurial sky; however, this specific Full Moon will be more instrumental in showing us the grey areas and ambiguous facets of a discourse than in delivering factual, logical and undeniable proofs. Misinformation, changes of hearts and mind and confusion are likely to surface under this unsteady sky, and the Full Moon might end up illuminating our ignorance, rather than enlightening us with Truth. This could, and should prompt us to loosen up, to question ourselves and the notions we entertain about our reality, to re-negotiate our beliefs and attitudes towards situations that involve dialogue and communication – to revise the way we use our voice so that we can become even more powerful agents of change.
If anything, this Full Moon illuminates the ceaseless flow of things. Like the pre-socratic Greek philosopher Heraclitus would have it, everything flows (‘πάντα ῥεῖ‘). Our reality is currently in flux, more than ever, and we would be mistaken not to take everything we see or hear at this time with a grain of salt. We cannot control the outcome of this energy, but we can go with the flow, and allow it to take us to the place that has been waiting for us all along.
